Know Before You Go

The day-use portion of Florida Caverns State Park is open daily, 8 a.m. to sunset (Central). Cavern tours are available Thursday through Monday. Cavern tour tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased in person at the Florida Caverns Gift Shop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Central) on the day of arrival. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early as tours sometimes sell out, especially on weekends and holidays. A limited number of online reservations may be made at FloridaCavernsGiftShop.com. Hours

  • The day-use portion of Florida Caverns State Park is open daily, 8 a.m. until sunset CST.
  • From Labor Day to Memorial Day, cave tours are offered Thursday-Monday (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Fees

Admission

  • $5 per vehicle (two to eight people).
  • $4 single-occupant vehicle.
  • $2 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.

Camping 

  • $20 per night plus tax, plus a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee for RV, cabin, bungalow, boat and yurt units. Utility fee includes water, electricity and sewer. Utility fee does not apply to tent camping.
  • The campground is open. 

Florida residents who are 65 years of age or older or who hold a Social Security disability award certificate or a 100% disability award certificate from the federal government are permitted to receive a 50% discount on current base campsite fees. (Reservation fee and utility fee are excluded.) Must present documentation at check-in.

Cavern Tours

  • Off-season cavern tickets from Labor Day (September) to Memorial Day (end of May) are offered five days a week, Thursday through Monday.
  • Off-season tours are not available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • Cavern tour tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased in person at the Florida Caverns Gift Shop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST.
